Connect airtel gprs to your computer using bluetooth

When we try to connect Airtel GPRS to computer through bluetooth its fails to connect a lot of times.

Here's the way to overcome this difficulty.

Go to Control panel and select "Phone and modem options"

In the box "What country/region you are in now?"
select India

In the box "What area code(or city code)are you in now?
Give your STD number(For example 040 for hyderabad).
Leave the box "If you need to specify a carrier code, what is it?" as blank
In the box "If you dial a number to access an outside line, what is it?"
type the number "*99***1#"
Check the box tone dialing and press ok.

The dialogue box will be closed and when you open phone and modem options again

You will see a different dialogue box now.

Select the Modems tab and select
Bluetooth dun modem from the listed modems and then click properties

From the resulting dialogue box select Advanced.

Here you will see a blank named Extra initialization command.
Type this:
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","airtelgprs.com"

the above command is case sensitive.
Now press OK and restart the computer. The GPRS connection will be connected every time you will try from now.
